About me
Possessing a friendly, mature and professional nature, I’m a team player who is motivational and supportive. Textiles plays a massive part in my life and I couldn’t imagine not having it around me every day. Creative thinking is one of my greatest skill sets along with experimentation. Experimentation with fabrics is my most loved part about textiles because I can be hands on and work freely.
I am a bubbly and fun character with a massive interest in fashion and being on trend. I love being creative not only with designing but creating outfits and experimenting with make up. It all plays a part in who I am as a designer and is important to me to express who I am.
WHY I CHOSE TEXTILES
I graduated from Birmingham City University in July 2018 and am currently ready to start my career as a designer. I chose printed textiles as my main pathway at University because I could be as experimental as possible to make sure my love for texture and fabrics came through in my designs. Being creative is an amazing skill to have and I use this to drive me into creating new fabrics and new ideas. There is something so rewarding with seeing designs come together and pairing fabrics to complement each other, this is my favourite part about what I do.
